There is nothing delightful about hypertension in pregnancy, yet this short book is a delight to read. The authors have managed to combine the wealth of information and the dearth of actual knowledge that characterises this particular subject into a synopsis that combines evidence with sound reflection and good sense and that is at least as didactic as anything I have ever read on the subject.
