The annual conference of the Institute of Personnel and Development is an efficiently run affair, so a press release for each session lands in the Career focus in tray. None is individually worthy of your attention, and I regret not to be able to report from the conference itself, but it does provide an opportunity for a jargon check. Knowledge management within the learning organisation is now so firmly established as to be almost passŽ. The new buzz concepts lack mass; they are lean, nimble, transformational. Harmony is in, cacophony is out. Sprinkle judiciously through your CV.
