NHS trusts must tackle violence against staff

    NHS trusts and health authorities must have systems in place to record and monitor workplace accidents and violence against staff under new targets drawn up by the British government. By April 2000 all NHS employers must have published strategies to reduce such incidents and have procedures to tackle harassment by staff and service users.
