    A World Health Organisation task force has confirmed that levonorgestrel alone is a significantly better form of emergency contraception than the current standard treatment of a combination of levonorgestrel and ethinyloestradiol. The combined hormonal regimen, known as the Yuzpe method, is marketed in the UK as Schering PC4.
