Inquiry into milk safety ordered: The British government has ordered a nationwide survey on milk after fears that a bacterium which affects cattle worldwide may cause Crohn's disease. The survey was ordered after initial tests at 16 dairies in Northern Ireland showed Mycobacterium paratuberculosis in about a quarter of the samples taken.
