    EDITOR—Sarasin and Bounameaux's decision analysis model of treatment in factor V Leiden carriers1 is in keeping with the results of our cohort study.2 In our study the annual rate of recurrence when treatment with warfarin was stopped was 11.1 per 100 patient-years.
