Carl Gray's article on Time Management www.bmj.com/cgi/content/full/316/7137/S2-7137 seemed to go down well: Anna Gavin, director of the Northern Ireland cancer registry wrote that the article was “both enjoyable and inspiring. I got loads done that weekend, which may explain why I was wrecked on Monday.” Thanks also to Mr PG Needham, consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist at Solihull Hospital in the West Midlands, who accuses Gray of sexual hyperbole. “I was particularly fascinated by his assertion that in a lifetime we may spend five years engaged in sexual congress. I wonder what sort of life he leads: this amounts to two hours each day, every day for sixty years. Perhaps this is what he wishes to save all the wasted time for!”
