Junior hospital doctors are thought most at risk for sleep deprivation: but the BMA Board of Science and Education's recent report found that their senior colleagues weren't doing too well either. The report surveyed the health of all the medical staff in two trusts; only a minority of seniors were getting more than 6.5 hours each night, and one fifth of the seniors in one trust reported getting less than four hours.
