Britain launches new antidrugs strategy

As part of the British government's 10 year plan to intensify the fight against drug misuse health authorities are to give priority to drug specific activities within their budgets. They will be expected to include antidrugs measures in their health improvement programmes, which are to be a key feature of the health service from next year.
