Some US doctors would perform euthanasia

    Many doctors in the United States have received requests from patients who are terminally ill for help in ending their lives, but only a small percentage have complied, according to a recent survey organised by the New England Journal of Medicine. If doctor assisted suicide was legal a third of the doctors surveyed said that they would comply and a quarter said that they would perform euthanasia.
