Norwegian doctors attacked over “élite” trade union

Norwegian doctors have broken with their former trade union to create a new organisation representing the interests of doctors and other academics, the Norwegian Medical Association announced on the eve of its recent annual conference in Bergen. The move has provoked criticism from the press and from the old union.
