French committee will investigate proposed link between activities of nuclear reprocessing plant and leukaemia

    Editor—Alexander Dorozynsky states inaccurately that the international scientific committee established by the French government to review the studies of leukaemia among children and young adults living near the La Hague nuclear reprocessing plant has validated the conclusions of Dominique Pobel and Jean-Francois Viel.1 These authors proposed a causal link between the incidence of leukaemia and the plant's activities.2
