The acrimonious debate over abortion in the United States has reignited in recent weeks over the issues of so called late term and partial birth abortions.
Three senators proposed two measures designed to limit a woman's access to abortions performed after the fetus has become viable, with some exceptions if the mother's health is in danger. Last Thursday the senate rejected both of those bills by wide margins. …
