Young doctors feel isolated

    Young British doctors are feeling increasingly alienated in the current healthcare system, says a new report. NHS pressures are taking the joy out of medicine and eroding younger doctors' sense of vocation.

    The BMA commissioned Isobel Allen, head of social and healthcare studies at the Policy Studies Institute, to meet doctors under 40 and discuss the “core values” of their profession.
