Members of the National Association of Non-Principals met in London last week. High on the agenda was the idea of a “non-principal number” which will be used by assistants, associates, and locums to register attendance at postgraduate education sessions. NANP chairman Richard Fieldhouse wants members to start using the number as soon as possible, and plans to meet the Royal College of General Practitioners to work towards formalising PGMEarrangements.
