Dutch agree budget for expensive anticancer drugs

    The Dutch government has announced a £12m ($19m) annual budget to meet the cost of the expensive anticancer drugs paclitaxel (Taxol) and docetaxol (Taxotere) for an estimated 2500 women patients. The drugs are used to treat patients with breast and ovarian cancer.
