Importance of accurate assessment of fetomaternal haemorrhage after late abortions
A typesetting and an authors' error occurred in this Lesson of the Week by Imelda Bromilow and colleagues (9 November, pp 1200–1). In the author footnote S Walkinshaw should have been designated consultant obstetrician, not consultant haematologist as published. The second sentence should have read: “Before 20 weeks of gestation 250 IU [not 25 IU] of anti-D immunoglobulin should be given and after 20 weeks of gestation 500 IU.”
