Doctors in California and Arizona can now recommend cannabis for treating conditions such as cancer, AIDS, anorexia, chronic pain, spasticity, glaucoma, arthritis, or migraine. In California proposition 215 was passed by a margin of 56% to 44%, while its counterpart in Arizona, proposition 200, passed with 65% of the vote. Similar laws have already been passed in Florida, Ohio, Washington, and Idaho.
