Doctors outraged over redundancy notices

Consultants at a Welsh district general hospital have passed a vote of no confidence in the chief executive and chairman of the NHS trust and urged them to resign. The move, taken at a three hour meeting of 61 consultants at the Morriston NHS Trust in Swansea, followed redundancy notices given to two consultants, including the clinical director of elderly care, and another senior hospital doctor.
