More scope for audit, say MPs

More than eight out of 10 doctors carry out audit as a result of the first five years of the NHS clinical audit initiative in England. But MPs said that they are still disappointed that “a sizeable minority” of doctors are not taking part and urged the NHS Executive to establish why this was the case.
