Cruelty to animals is the issue under scrutiny in the current poster campaign by the Research Defence Society. The posters are black and white and are displayed on the walls of seven main line and 35 London Underground stations. Each of the three depicts an individual's head and shoulders, head atilt, brow furrowed in an attitude of reflection on an issue that has no easy answer.
The message of the posters is brief and confronting. “Animal research. Think before you speak.” “…Listen before you judge.” “…Open your eyes.” …
