A general practice fundholder who coauthored a paper in the BMJ describing how he reduced his prescribing costs has been reported to the GMC on the grounds that he may have misused public funds. The Medical Practitioners Union decided at its annual general meeting last weekend to ask the GMC to investigate Dr James Dunbar, from Downfield Surgery in Dundee.
