Scottish bed crisis leads to review on planning services

The influenza outbreak coupled with the effects of extreme winter weather resulted in medical admissions soaring throughout the country. Hospitals in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, Falkirk, and Stirling all had to cancel non-urgent admissions.
