ABC of medical computing: Choosing a computer system

Three BMJ errors occurred in this article by Nicholas Lee and Andrew Millman (1 July, pp 46-9) after the authors had seen the proof. Chips for IBM computers are no longer all made by Intel. In the section on monitors, the abbreviation VGA stands for video graphics array [not visual graphics accelerator]. The screen sizes should have been given in inches as well as cm: the sizes are 14 in, 15 in, and 17 in.
