- Alex Paton
The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry has produced its first Compendium of Patient Information Leaflets (Datapharm, ISBN 0 907102 11 5), free to general practitioners and hospital pharmacists. Written instructions are generally clear, but sometimes the amount of information is formidable and print too small; illustrations—for example, on inhaler technique—are excellent. A table of cross references to official drug names would be helpful.
