Ireland deals with hepatitis C fallout

The Irish government is to establish a special tribunal to deal with claims for compensation from women and their families infected with hepatitis C virus from contaminated plasma supplied by the blood transfusion service. Claims from the 1069 women affected could cost tens of millions of pounds.
