Rethink urged on pilots' hours

Regulations about duty periods and rest for airline crews that were due to have been introduced last week by the Joint Aviation Authorities, the body that brings together European civil aviation authorities, have been postponed. The proposed regulations were less stringent than current British regulations and had been widely criticised.
