British government examines drugs white list

    The idea of a national prescribing list for the NHS in Britain, as proposed by the Commons health committee, is to be examined by the Department of Health. The aim is to replace the blacklist of selected drugs that may not be prescribed with a “white list” covering all therapeutic categories.
