Ophthalmologists from Gibraltar and southern Spain have gained the support of European medical specialists in a battle against a Russian eye hospital ship that has been operating in the area for the past year. The specialists claim that the Floks Eye Clinic, housed on a ship under a Ukrainian flag, is offering eye surgery illegally. They argue that, since Gibraltar is a British dependency, it is the British government's responsibility to ban the clinic.
