The Health and Safety Executive in Britain is to prosecute the United Medical and Dental Schools of Guy's and St Thomas's Hospitals for breaches of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 1988 after cultures of two dangerous fungi were spilled last September in one of the schools' laboratories.
