New start date for medical posts Will cause confusion with registration

    EDITOR, - T J S Chesser and F M E Wadsworth have drawn attention to senior house officers' lack of awareness of the change in start dates for hospital medical and dental posts.1 There seems to be an even more unpleasant surprise for junior doctors. Those with limited registration that expires with their current post on 31 July cannot have their registration automatically extended by the General Medical Council for a further two days.
