Correction: Guy's Hospital will stop acute care

An editorial error occurred in this news story (19 February, p 496). It was stated incorrectly that a decision on the application for trust status by the Royal National Throat, Nose, and Ear Hospital had been deferred. This hospital in fact became a trust in April 1991.
