All mammography clinics in the US will have to be accredited by the American College of Radiology, said David Kessler, commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), last week. Kessler's announcement, made in a speech to the annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America aims to set a national standard for mammography services.
