    EDITOR, - The “speedily drafted resolution” adopted by the World Summit of National Academies of Science in New Delhi condemning Australia for “suspending all funds of family planning assistance to developing countries” 1 reflects poorly on the scientific community. With unscientific fervour the resolution was adopted by the scientists without verifying the facts. They took as their sole source a false story in the Canberra Times.
