![]() Stanton-St-John, Oxford, 13/09/96 | Good medical managers are rare, but Rosemary Rue is one. Her success must have been due in part to her wide experience as a family doctor, in the hospital service, and as a member of the public health service. Having partly trained at Oxford, she has had a major role in that university city in the National Health Service, steering a successful path between the demands of the community and the clinical requirements of research at Britain's most outstanding medical school. She also served as president of the BMA. | |
