Re: Plain English might help

Forgive my ignorance, but if someone would explain precisely what is meant by all this engagement stuff, then we might get somewhere. In what way is the public supposed to be involved and with what? How many people want to spend time talking about 'world-class comissioning', specially if it is not clear what this means, let alone entails?

Then there are the GPs, nurses and other people working hard in primary care, giving excellent services, despite the meddling of PCTs and diktats from the Department of Health about results and number-crunching. How are they supposed to find the time to 'engage' in administrative processes when they have got patients to see, often under enormous pressure, specially in deprived areas?

Let's have some plain talking instead of so much 'human resources-speak'.
