The recommended CME programme in this article showed me how wrong I was! Is there any way that every clinician who prescribes in Britain can be asked to complete it as a component of their annual CPD? Could the brand names be changed to British ones to make it easier? I teach nurses and others to prescribe and it is very noticeable how keen the industry is to target non-medical prescribers now. Competing interests: None declared
