Simon Chapman, Professor of Public Health University of Sydney Send response to journal: Re: Recall of sex in Australian sexagenarians	Ninety seven percent of sexagenarian Australian men in a stable relationship reported having sex in the past month compared to 91% of Australian women of the same age also in stable relationships. A time-honoured joke which asks "What is Australian for foreplay? (answer: "Are you awake, love?") may go somewhere to explaining this interesting difference. Competing interests: None declared
