Re: Access-not yet

The author states there is electronic patient access for those of EMIS practices. Untrue, those of us persuaded to buy the flagship product of Emis namely PCS, are still waiting for our patients to be able to order prescriptions online, let alone view their records. PCS cannot use GP2GP yet either so we are stuck in the dark age of typing in full medical history, results medicines etc etc from a printout of electronic notes when a patient moves practice. Enourmously time consuming. We are (still) waiting for the next Emis product Emis web. Things are not as joined up as Brian suggests.
