Re: Lucky

As a short (1.5m) and grotesquely ugly 51 yo doctor I consider myself very lucky. Not only am I short and unattractive but was also a D+ entrant to medical school. I have a stable marriage, 4 children and a beautiful wife - 8 yo my junior. I have certainly made the observation that surgeons are tall and handsome. But there is a downside. The large income and dashing good looks make them easy prey for the wiles of young women seeking status and money. They have so much choice they don't know what to do with it - almost like film stars. Inevitably their marriages fail as their heads whizz round and round seeking the next repository for the product of their loins.Dominated by the Darwinian imperitave they are unfortunate victims of the very thing that makes them rich. For the very thing that makes them rich makes them poor. Not that I am jealous.....
