Saj Ishaque, GP GU2 7NJ Send response to journal: Re: is GP profit paramount ?	Excellent article and the last line definitely summarised the current GP thinking. There is a massive conflict of interest when GP's decide whether they should provide a " safe and accesible service" to the local population or be " more interested" in their own career progression, better working hours and (what the author fails to mention mention) the GP's own fiscal interests.
