This is an interesting and possibly significant analysis. It suggests that the profile of deprived PCTs matches pretty closely that of a typical Tory constituency. With the high level of analysis of the effects of public policy on voting patterns which has been used by the governing party to secure electoral advantage, is it too cynical to suppose that NHS (National Health Service) funding is being used to enhance the party's chances in future elections? Makes Dame Shirley Porter's activities look small beer.
