Re: US leads the way with media hype

I greatly appreciated your article regarding the tamiflu explosion, simply based on the "best hope" status of that drug. My country is leading the way in outrageous medical expense, and is doing so with outrageous medical expectation. It is refreshing to see an article written from such a logical perspective, when so many articles spend more time exaggerating fears or risks, and spend no time with analysis of an appropriate plan of action.

Little is ever mentioned about increasing health, and utilization of healthy public health habits, which I feel continues to be a void in need of filling. When historic data so strongly supports the simple utilization of greater public health awareness as the primary reason why we have had a decline in ALL infectious diseases, we are too quick to jump on the bandwagon of a quick fix; boosting antibodies through vaccination in hopes that those antibodies stand the test of time (and immeasurable mutation).

I appreciate the opportunity to respond, please continue providing the catalyst for thought.
