With my tongue firmly in my cheek, I must ask if this form of misrepresentation in order to obtain a discount is of the same moral order as a lay person mis-representing himself as a Doctor to obtain good service in a restaurant.

I would like to point out that the aim was NOT to get a discount but to see if the firms were altering their prices because they knew our profession and the fact that we received a fair wage. Believe me living in Blairs Britain now means discounts are only given to members of the Government!
