Your article is interesting but it did not mention the substantial problem : funding. The Slovak health care provision system is underfunded. Slovak health care expenses per capita are the 4th lowest among OECD states (the lowest when expressed in % of GDP). The Czech expenses on health care per capita ara almost double. The income of Slovak doctors and nurses is lower by 1/3 than that in Czech Republic. Health insurance companies have been transformed into profit run organisations.

Hospitals are being transformed into profit run organisations too. But practically all are in debt, so many of them will become bankrupt. Regulations are being changed all the time. There is no focus on quality of care.
