Re: GMC Health procedures

Doctors concerned with the activity of the GMC, may be interested to review the report of the Health Review Group. This is currently open for consultation for a period of 6 weeks ending 12th September.

This report raises a number of fundamental concerns; failure to locate any objective research to support its conclusions; failure to allow a doctor to provide independent medical reports of their condition, instead relying entirely on GMC psychiatric reports; direct workplace reporting to the GMC without consulting the doctor involved; lack of reference to the Disability Discrimination Act Copies may be obtained from the GMC directly or from myself - please email me, with your address at lizzie.miller@btinternet.com then send your comments to the GMC.
