Re: Reset our minds

Thank you BMJ for giving space in your valued journal to a very complex and extremely controversial issue that is a route cause for disparity, division, hatred, and persecution across the continents.

The responses to Dr. Summerfield's article yet substantiates the fact how much people have divided opinions regarding the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

I wish there was a some sort of a "RESET" button that would eliminate the past and allow for a fresh start. I agree the wounds are deep and they leave marks that reminds us of the past. But today we live in the 21st century, and yes: marks can be erased (where are our fellow plastic surgeons?).

I hope to see moderation on both the Palestinian and Israeli sides. I hope they both engage in more constructive peace talks.

Its time: we need a fresh start.
