I do actually agree with Khan and Blamey's recommendation of tamoxifen as first line treatment of gynaecomastia. Apart from the evidence produced by the Authors and based on 135 patients (not randomised controlled clinical trials), there is a quite extensive anectodical evidence of its effectiveness. Bodybuilders have been using Tamoxifen for several years as a treatment for gynaecomastia due to steroid androgens abuse. This made of Nolvadex one of the most requested prescriptions in the black market.
