Re: Attitude of students to patient's examination

It is very alarming to read this article, which shows how much we as teachers fail in cultivating in students, the proper attitude towards patients. Unfortunatley most of our students take it for granted that the patients should consent automatically to medical students' examination. Some students seem to feel that patients are obliged to consent, but worse than this, some teachers give the students that impression and reinforce it sometimes by refusing to see those patients who refuse the examination.
