Re: Knowledge Infarct- There was a reality before medline

In concurring with the critics, failure to search beyond the Medline- or adequately investigate cited references is a disservice to our profession.

Ignoring pre Medline literature is inexcusable and harms the medical profession by passing on this ignorance.

Temporocentric captivity is, unfortunately characteric of current medical and scientific reality regarding cannabis. As a result of this endemic ignorance illegitimate myths and fantasies are spawned. Treating cannabis scientifically and bureaucratically is a new drug is junk science at its worst.

Marijuana Medical Papers 1839 to 1972 published by me in 1973 was clearly not on their list of references. www.mikuriya.com

But is the consequence of absence of clinical experience because of its prohibited status.

Unfortunately, it is the patient with serious chronic illnesses who are victimized by polypharmacy that have debilitating side effects.

Society is doubly victimized by the "Sick? Call a Cop." dictating health policy and the censored medical and scientific community that the authors unwittingly promote.
